Menlo Insurance MCP: customer-controlled insurance tools
Disclosure: I work with Menlo Insurance Services. This documentation describes our customer-facing Model Context Protocol integration for California and Texas property and casualty insurance. It exposes 11 structured tools for product discovery, quote-form handoff and customer-authorized quote access. The AI runs in the customer’s selected client; the insurance backend is deterministic. Public discovery does not require login, while private quote access requires OAuth and customer consent. Coverage, documents and purchase actions remain on the website. MCP access is free; insurance premiums are separate. The link includes setup instructions and the public endpoint.
