Anthropic Ships Cowork With Enterprise Controls
Anthropic made Claude Cowork generally available across all paid plans, adding role-based access controls, per-team budget limits, and an analytics API that exports per-user activity and skill invocations to SIEM tools like Splunk and Cribl. A new Zoom MCP connector pulls meeting summaries directly into Cowork sessions. Admins can now restrict individual connector actions - read-only database access, disabled writes - which is the kind of granular control enterprise security teams have been asking for. Zapier is using it to surface engineering bottlenecks across Slack, Jira, and databases; Jamf compressed seven-facet performance reviews into 45-minute guided sessions. The release mirrors what OpenAI did with Frontier and what Google is building with Jules - every AI lab is now shipping admin dashboards and connector governance as the real enterprise product, not just the model.
